Hi! My name is Jennifer Brewer and I’m a boy mom with a cookie passion (and I love coffee).
Been married to my handsome hubby since 2015 and go figure that he’s the oldest of 3 boys – my fate was sealed early on. I have been at the same corporate day job for almost 15 years. I don’t hate it but it’s not my passion. I love my kids, decorating cookies, dogs (I used to help run a local bully breed rescue and we have a 15 year old pittie/american bull dog named Scotty), and being busy. I’m not the type of person to sit still so staying up until 1am most nights kinda fits me. Oh and coffee. Did I mention I love coffee?
The “3 Little Kookies” name came from the fact that we’re raising 3 kooky boys and everything I do is for them so makes sense the name would revolve around them too. Some would say I take on too much but the reality is I want to do more. I want to do it all because I want them to know that I can. I want those little faces to look up at me and know that I’m right there for them through it all. Of course I can’t realistically do it all but I can sure as shit try and I want to begin sharing all of it with you…the ups, the downs, and the crazy. Speaking of crazy, my cookie decorating passion, turned side gig is why this page got started! I first wanted to decorate cookies so I could make fun desserts for my kids parties and hand out cute gifts to family/friends. I took a royal icing class in the fall of 2019, realized it wasn’t nearly as scary as I originally thought and just started having fun with it. The more I practiced, the more friends and family told me I should sell them and I remember saying “no, I’ll never sell these – they are just for fun”. Famous last words because not long after that a friend begged me to sell her a set and that was the summer of 2020. Here I am today running this little cookie business of mine. I’m up late nights after working my full time day job and wrangling the kids but I honestly do love it! It’s a hobby that helps pay for this wonderful life we have raising 3 kids in San Diego.
